Little Lift American Navigator
Mission

A calmer starting place for a more complicated world.

Little Lift American Navigator exists because so many ordinary tasks now begin online: forms, phone trees, benefits, medical appointments, job searches, bus schedules, payment screens, school pages, and local offices that are hard to reach. That can be useful, but it can also leave people feeling lost, rushed, or shut out.

This project gives people a plain-English place to begin. It points toward food help, emergency shelter and hotel leads, medical care, transit, jobs, benefits, legal aid, school help, local offices, and practical next steps without making people trade their privacy for basic directions.

Plain words first

People should not need a caseworker, perfect paperwork, or a dozen browser tabs just to find the next place to ask for help.

Privacy with respect

Little Lift American Navigator is not built to sell personal details, run advertising profiles, or turn hard moments into marketing data.

Independent and useful

Support helps keep the site focused on the person searching, not on advertisers, referral deals, or hidden motives.

What donations help pay for

Running a public resource site takes steady work. Funds help keep the web address and pages online, check links, improve phone access, write clearer guides, update pages when programs change, and make the site easier to use at home, at a library, on an older computer, or on a slow connection.

The goal is not to put a paywall around help. The goal is to keep the public doorway open.

  • Keeping the site online and easy to load.
  • Updating resource pages as programs, forms, and websites change.
  • Adding clearer guides for housing, medical care, transit, benefits, jobs, and digital forms.
  • Keeping the project independent from ads and the pressure to sell personal information.
  • Creating shareable outreach materials for people who are not sure where to start.
General fund

Support the independent mission fund

Giving is optional. If Little Lift American Navigator helped you, or if you simply believe people deserve clear directions in a tech-heavy world, a small gift helps keep the work moving for the next person.

Support deepens the guide with safer city-and-topic conversations, better local notes, and careful next-step help through the hubs without replacing qualified professionals.

No donation changes anyone's eligibility for outside programs. No donor gets control over resource listings. Support simply helps the site stay available, human, and independent.

Little Lift American Navigator shares starting points and general information. It does not replace qualified medical, legal, financial, housing, school, or government advice. Outside resources and payment providers have their own privacy rules.
